How VQ CarFinder Works - BlackBerry GPS App

CarFinder gives users of GPS-capable phones an automated means to record where they’ve parked. You don’t have to do anything until you want to find your car. Then, at the press of a button, the phone maps your way back to your car.

VQ CarFinder AUTOMATICALLY launches in the background every time you turn on your BlackBerry.

Automatically Lock Car Position

When you start your car, your in-vehicle Bluetooth (be it built-in Bluetooth or a VQ CarFinder Bluetooth Car Charger) automatically powers up.

VQ CarFinder, upon noting the Bluetooth signal, automatically launches your BlackBerry's GPS and tracks your location.

When you turn off your car, the Bluetooth connection terminates, at which point VQ CarFinder stores your last known location.

Everything to this point occurs AUTOMATICALLY.

You don't have to do anything.

To Find Your Car

From your BlackBerry's Home Screen, click on the VQ CarFinder icon.

Press the Find Car option from menu…

VQ CarFinder will search for Satellites

VQ Carfinder shows where you are (blue dot), and an arrows points in the general direction toward your vehicle…

When you get closer to your car a car icon will appear on screen. Just walk toward the car icon to get to your vehicle.

When you get back into your vehicle and turn it on, VQ CarFinder will automatically begin tracking your location for you again.
